Deepak Kumar Nath set up his first company, DKN Software Solutions, marking the start of a promising journey. During this period, he conducted his first Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security workshop at Rajendra College, Balangir, empowering students with the fundamentals of cybersecurity. He also formed Odisha Cyber Force with like-minded ethical hackers, taking on penetration testing, bug bounties, and small-scale cybersecurity projects. His expertise gained recognition beyond Odisha when he conducted a 3-day workshop at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore, training over 300 senior professionals.

Inspired by the visionary leadership of Ratan Tata and the ethos of TCS, Deepak founded Global Tech Promoters (GTP), a comprehensive IT solutions firm offering services from training to cybersecurity, development to digital marketing. During this time, he operated from small offices in Kanan Vihar and Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar, with a dedicated team of 10-15 members. While completing his engineering degree, he identified and reported critical bugs to major corporations, earning Hall of Fame recognitions from Facebook, Microsoft, Blackberry, Sony, AT&T, and over 30 global companies. This era also saw the successful delivery of cybersecurity training and security solutions to a growing list of clients.

In 2016, Deepak Kumar Nath established the Global Institute of Information Security (GIIS), a leading institution for ethical hacking and cybersecurity training across India. Partnering with CISCO, GIIS delivered training in ethical hacking & cybersecurity to students in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Nagaland, Karnataka, Gujarat, and other states. The institute quickly became a hub for aspiring cybersecurity professionals, strengthening the educational landscape and providing a pathway for students to excel in the cybersecurity industry. During this period, Deepak also expanded the company’s presence by establishing a new office in New Delhi, further solidifying the company’s growth and commitment to educating future cybersecurity leaders.

In 2017, Deepak Kumar Nath’s vision continued to take shape as he expanded his reach in the cybersecurity industry. Threatsys Technologies Pvt. Ltd. officially emerged, marking the shift towards a focused 360-degree cybersecurity service provider. The company strengthened its presence in both local and international markets by opening a new office in Infocity, Bhubaneswar, India. During this period, GIIS continued to gain momentum, offering specialized training programs and certifications in ethical hacking and cybersecurity. As a result of his dedication, the company gained numerous clients across industries, solidifying Deepak’s reputation as a leading cybersecurity expert and educator. The successful establishment of Threatsys and GIIS marked a critical milestone in his journey toward transforming the cybersecurity landscape in India and beyond.

In 2018, Deepak Kumar Nath took a significant step by officially founding Threatsys Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a dedicated 360-degree cybersecurity service provider. This year marked the inauguration of Threatsys’s new corporate office in DLF Cybercity, Bhubaneswar, establishing the company as a key player in the cybersecurity field. With a sharp focus on delivering advanced cybersecurity solutions, Threatsys expanded its footprint internationally, partnering with clients across regions such as Australia, the Gulf, Nigeria, Kenya, and Europe. In parallel, GIIS continued to grow its training network, equipping individuals and organizations with the necessary skills to tackle emerging cybersecurity challenges. In 2019, Deepak Kumar Nath continued expanding Threatsys, integrating advanced technologies like AI and Machine Learning into cybersecurity services. His leadership helped secure new business sectors and bolster existing partnerships.
